Orchard Necklace

I designed this necklace for my best friend's birthday. She has planted an orchard of heritage apples in her garden, the design represents different varieties of apple. Although, all the varieties are growing on one branch and include a gold mirrored apple, a red glitter apple and a green glitter apple so it's some sort of magical apple tree!

The leaves are green mirrored and green marble. The blossom is white marble as is the core of the apple. The braches and pips are wood.

The necklace is laser cut from perspex and wood in the UK and then hand painted, glued and assembled by me in Clevedon near Bristol. It comprises of one back layer of wood with perspex pieces layered on top and measures 12cm wide and 8cm high. You can chose from chain or cord and it all comes served up in a recycled card Swank embossed jewellery box.

The chain may differ from the picture as I used a vintage chain for my friend's present and I I don't have any left. The chain will be gold plated.
